I am updating this from my hotel room in Berlin,on my blackberry to be precise so I don't know how this post will turn out! The conference is set to start officially in a few hours, but when I arrived last night I met with the American and Canadian delegates. Its all quite overwhelming as they are all so talented- from young businessmen, to Nasa staff, to political consultants, to journalists- everyone is hugely successful in their field. The point of the conference is to build relations between Europe and America, and devleop new ways of working for the future. I've already picked up some useful information on Canadian citizenship programmes, which I hope to trial in Wales. I am sure that there will be varying opinions on issues of the day, but I'm looking forward to the busy week ahead.
On to the important issue of food- things have changed a lot since I was in Germany 6 years ago(in Nurtingen to be precise) There are now vegetarian options in restaurants! I will now survive the week!
