Today all party leaders in Wales united to encourage people to sign up to vote for the Assembly election in May by releasing a joint public statement. There is a danger that there could be a low turnout, but with promotion from all political parties, the press and campaigners alike, I hope people will be inspired to vote on May the 3rd. What is of utmost importance is to encourage people to take part, and to feel that their vote can make a difference. An additional challenge is to get the youth vote out, as statistically only 17% of those between 18 and 30 years old voted in the last general election.
A joint statement today from all parties-a grand coalition after May the 3rd, perhaps?!

Surely a low turnout will help Plaid differentially? Could be key to your success in Llanelli, Aberconwy, Carmarthen West & South Pembs, etc, etc...
that may be so, but I am in the business of encourging more people to vote generally. the percentage is extremely low compared to other countries.
